Friday Funnies - Kiss the ball goodbye

I found this pretty funny when seeing it a while back. It's the IRB Sevens Series at Twickenham, and Fijian born Isoa Damudamu manages to make a real mess of scoring the try for England.

As he tries to put the ball down he decides to give it a little kiss, which ends in disaster.

I didn't do the editing but muppet is a pretty good description of how he would have been feeling after being shown up like that on the international stage.

I bet he won't be doing that again in a hurry.

  • That was the Twickenham leg of the world sevens last year I'm pretty sure. Guy not scoring is Damudamu, a Fijian soldier who plays for, I think, Newbury in England, used to play at my club in Scotland and when he was sober he was a hell of a player

  • It's funny, but it ain't legal.
You're not allowed to kick the ball from another players hand, and this includes a player attempting to ground the ball. Referee should've known this. So penalty try!

  • That is Isoa Damudamu and he does play for Newbury. This was last seasons London 7's quarter final. This WOULD have been the opening try. We went on to lose heavily. SPOON
