Friday Funnies - Just another Chiefs fan's reaction to the Bulls victory

It's been two weeks since the Bulls thrashed the Chiefs in the Super 14 final at Loftus in Pretoria. While many expected the Chiefs to put up more of a showing, there was one fan in particular who couldn't contain his outrage at the result.

We do our best to bring you rare footage here on Rugbydump, and this clip is indeed just that.

The tape was leaked to the public and many of you might have already seen it as it did the rounds since the final, but we've had many requests for it so felt it should be shared on here.

Watch in amusement at the moment the Super 14 Final result is revealed to a devout fan.

As history has shown, some people are just bad sports, struggling to handle defeat.

The premise was funny, but the Habana half breed comment was way out of line. Perhaps if I was dutch, I'd find the whole thing way out of line...

Well what is so f*** funny on a scene out of a movie, spoken in German, talking about the war - nothing to do with rugby.

Well why didn´t the guy compose the scenes with an english audio track. But to write some comments over a movie scene, is in my point of view totally off target.

Who cares if it's been done before? I doubt it's ever been done for rugby, like this, which makes it worth watching and pretty funny.

I´m sorry to say that I´m a big fan of Rugbydump but I think something like this is not an footage that should be shown here. It might be funny for some guys who just hear loud words in a language that they don´t know but if you understand what he´s saying and know how much that is out of content ... it´s just retarded. Don´t get me wrong I would think that this video would be awesome with an english audio track saying the subbed lines but that is far from bad humor..

I dislike it when people are offended by racist jokes.

We should all be able to take the piss out of each other.

for example bryan habana is a "half breed" as in he has mix race parents, there is nothing offensive about that, only the way u choose to interpret it.

It is only when you society tells us that we must put boundries on what you can and cannot say, that you create exagerrated differences between racial groups and exaggerate racial barriers that already existed. It is suppose to protect racial harmony but actually polarises the differnces between racial groups and can make them feel even more isolated and alienated from one another. By focusing on what we cant say, we focus on the "differences" which i am sure u will all agree is not a good thing.

By trying to be PC you actually create segregation and very often a feeling of "them versus us". Im not saying we should all be racist lol, but in an ideal world people wouldnt even see races of poeple, only people.

So, next time you say "u cant say that, thats racist! stop and think...am i actually helping the issue by saying this? or am i just being self righteous?"

Well, not all of us understand German.. so what he was actually saying really wasnt an issue.

It's basically the same as that old Friday Funny that was on here with the Kiwi dressed as a Saffa, holding the 'Richie McCaw is a cheat' sign. We all know that's offensive, but we also know it was a JOKE..

So, lighten up people. I understand that if you have ancestors who died at the hands of that nazi b*stard, then sure, it's maybe a bit sensitive.. but at the end of the say, it's meant to make us laugh, and it's making him look an even bigger fool than he was.

The Habana comment was racist of course, but its in the context of Hitler being a prick and the fact that Habana basically stuffed the Chiefs with his skills and athleticism.

I wonder how Habana would feel about it though, given South Africa's tumultuous history and its impact on his parents he might feel like being called a 'half-breed' unacceptable under any circumstances and who are we to disagree?

What the Hitler character is actually saying in German has no sort of relevance of any kind. You don't have to speak German to know he's pissed off with the way the war's going, so what!. I liked it, but I agree that this may come off as rather insensitive.

What I found funny too was that they point out it is the cradle of Afrikanerdom, and yet they bet on the Chiefs.

If Hitler were alive today and a fan of the Super 14, I would have figured he would be a Bulls fan.

However, he would have surely thrown a shit-fit seeing all the "color" on the pitch. The team that was once the bastion of Afrikaner rugby had seven guys of color -- Guthro Steenkamp, Habana, Ndungane, Kirchner, plus Ralepelle, Heini Adams, Burton Francis.

Then again, it's satire, and pretty good.
