Brian Lima bone cruncher on Derick Hougaard

Arguably one of the hardest hits you'll ever see on the rugby field.

19 Year old Derick Hougaard gets a taste of Samoan rugby from 'The Chiropractor' Brian Lima at the 2003 World Cup. Don't know how he got up from this one.

Nice pass Joost...

  • To guy saying he got coached by Brian Lima when he played for Munster: That's obviously bullshit, Lima never actually played a game for munster, he just signed a contract and changed his mind (about playing for Munster) a few weeks later. He didn't take part in any form of training with the squad. I don't even know if he met the other players. My God, you're so sad for leving that bullshit comment. I feel very sorry for you.

  • love the way after lima gets up from the tackle (see slo mo replay) he looks around as though to say, "who's next?"

By Anonymous Anonymous, at September 25, 2008 8:41 pm

  • Please. Lima is a disgrace to the game. I think that was as close as he ever got to a legal tackle in his whole bloody career.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at October 08, 2008 1:55 pm

  • BIGGEST TACKLE IVE EVER SEEN!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at December 15, 2008 10:49 am

  • Lima's problem it's that he is too dangerous... ask Mirco Bergamasco

By Anonymous Anonymous, at March 23, 2009 3:23 pm

  • Whoever said Lima's a disgrace is an idiot

By Anonymous Anonymous, at May 04, 2009 7:21 am

  • This guy is truely a fearless tackler, This is possibly the best tackle I have ever seen. Timed it so well. I wish I had the same insticts in defense as Lima does. he is one player you know would never shy away in defense.

Whoever said he is a Disgrace as a player is a joke. He is a very pyschical player and puts his body on the line. Its a contact sport i have seen him make plenty of legal tackles, just like any player sometimes high shot are accidental.

P.s I have noticed that samoans seem to be very hard hitters
