Sivivatu comes off second best after this big hit on Nacewa

In this weekends Super 14 clash between the Chiefs and the Blues we saw All Black winger Sitiveni Sivivatu actually come off second best after his huge hit on Blues fullback Isa Nacewa.

Sivivatu lined Nacewa up beautifully and timed the tackle to perfection after the long hospital pass from center Isaia Toeava.

Nacewa actually popped up pretty quickly afterwards, with Sivivatu looking to have winded himself. Great hit though regardless of who came off worse for wear.

  • Looks like Sivivatu gets Nacewa's knee in his chest...Good hit, a bit more wrap might have been nice though.

  • very nice hit, you can see the left knee hit sivivatus hit his stomach, definitely got winded

quality hit though, wrap wasnt need with that sort of collision

  • Wasn't needed for the takedown, but might have prevented him hurting himself in the tackle.

  • Don't know about you guys, but i don't think there's anything better than smacking your opposition into knocking it on! Shame about getting hurt! But that definitely stopped the blues attack...

  • Nacewa's hair is rather reminiscent of Douggie Howlett's, don't you think?
