All Blacks Haka vs England - 2nd Test

All Black flyhalf Danier Carter has once again notched up 22 points as the home team marched on to defeat England 2-0 in the two test series in New Zealand, winning convincingly 44-12 on the night.

The game was physical as always and left plenty of casualties as players from both teams suffered in the injuries department. Most notable for New Zealand was the loss of key men Ali Williams and Richie McCaw, both with leg injuries.

Matthew Tait also left the field after taking a terrible knock from debutant centre Richard Kahui.

Kahui, a surprise selection for many, was highly successful in his first game in the black jersey, and contributed to an overall solid performance from the All Blacks who ran in five tries to Englands two.

We'll get clips and a full report up from the game in the next day or so, but for now, here's the Haka for those of you who enjoy watching it.

  • Neemia Tialata is intense. Wish the camera's would focus on guys like him rather than that KISS impersonator

  • By christ, that Ritchie character is a fucking scary man.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 21, 2008 2:30 pm

  • Does anyone else think it must be a bit of an anti-climax for mealamu?..i mean..he lead that haka but..he was only a sub?..now i dont know, but im guessing leading the haka must really get your blood pumping and the adrenaline so..why dont they let someone who is starting the game lead the haka, like tialata, who was blatantly intimidating!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 21, 2008 2:40 pm

  • i mean, leading the haka and then having to sit on the bench must be a bit of a let-down?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 21, 2008 2:41 pm

  • The start to one of the best games I have seen in ages, brilliant.

By Blogger Nick Jones, at June 21, 2008 3:41 pm

  • They let the players who know the Maori chants do it don't they? Weepu often did it when he was on the bench. If anything it brings the bench more into the game, even if they're not starting. I can't think of anything scarier than being the England no.12 having watched Nonu do the Haka.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 21, 2008 3:50 pm

  • williams was sticking his tongue out and he looked like a prat!!! nonu scared me shitless though!!! mathew tait shud get more games 4 england

  • NZ Rugby Jersey: 70$

    Tickets to the game: 100$

    Ali Williams's face
    during the haka:....Priceless.

    LMAO 4 ALI!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 21, 2008 5:33 pm

  • That's pathetic, I really expected more from the guys, WC finalists, country with the most players but they basically got raped

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 21, 2008 6:12 pm

  • I'm english as they come and was dreaming of a victory but Nonu's try and carters performance sums up NZ rugby. Wolrds away, hope they win the tri nations. Cant stand the arrogance of SA, the ex-convicts of oz and u gotta love the passion in the haka from the all blacks!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 21, 2008 7:41 pm

  • BEASTS!
KA MATE KA MATE KA ORA KA ORA!

ali Williams is still an idiot...golly, stick ur tongue back in mate.

By Blogger Don, at June 21, 2008 8:09 pm

  • lmao, did Nonu have something in his eye the whole time? Watch closely lol, pretty funny.

Tialata is pretty epic though. They need more fire in their haka nowawadays, a lot of the time it looks soooo rehearsed and not the raw, enigmatic shrill it used to be...

We need more people to be like

    Umaga
    Kelleher
    Tialata
    McCaw
    Gear

    etcetc

    Agree?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 22, 2008 12:40 am

  • i dont want to be the one who has to tackle tialat...if i see his body...^^

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 22, 2008 12:44 am

  • dunno about kelleher and Gear Heinzy, they werent really that loyal to NZ, probs cos both were struggling for a position in a new young team, nevertheless cant argue with Umaga and McCaw type characters! Nonu will never have the work rate of Umaga but hes such a great offensive player hes gonna become a legend for sure. would love to see lelia masaga from the chiefs in the team though, he didnt even make any junior teams dunno if thats because of injury though. masagas not got the defense of his new rivals like tuitavake but his steps are ridiculous, besides i think you can offord maybe one weak defensive link!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 22, 2008 12:48 am

  • I meant the likes of Kelleher and Gear in the haka, just that type of attitude and flair they possessed.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 22, 2008 8:48 pm

  • If any of your players were intimidated by the haka you'd tell them to watch ali williams he just look daft and comical!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 23, 2008 9:45 pm

  • and ma'a nonu scary as hell, im english but he's the best 12 in the world!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 23, 2008 9:47 pm

  • ali williams should be banned from doing the haka! he looks like a right div!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 24, 2008 2:20 am

  • ahh got you Heinzy, ye would have to agree with you on that one. maybe its just me but the haka, which is a maori thing if im correct, only looks right if its carried out by maoris. whilst the likes of kelleher put his all into it i definately think the ali williams should just give up and leave it to the maori guys, far more intimidating imo

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 24, 2008 3:22 pm

  • 'lmao, did Nonu have something in his eye the whole time? Watch closely lol, pretty funny.'

    It's mascara mate.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 24, 2008 8:48 pm

  • Can somebody please ban Ali Williams from doing the Haka? Surely he must be a disgrace to the Maori heritage?

And what the hell is Nono doing? He looks like a baboon with a banana tantrum ... I think some of these pro players try make a show out of it, for the camera.

The Haka is losing its value, this way :(

By Blogger Sander, at June 26, 2008 2:15 pm

  • It's Nonu, of course ... not Nono :)

By Blogger Sander, at June 26, 2008 2:16 pm

  • ali looks like he's practising his kissing lol. mccaw intimidates though.

and, mccaw isn't maori, you can't ban him from performing the haka.

    from england

By Anonymous Anonymous, at June 26, 2008 9:15 pm

  • Ali Williams's face:
looks like he's trying to hold in a sh** --- the face of a driver stuck in rush hour traffic, who realizes he should not have drank his morning coffee before head out to work.

Tialata: Looks like he's an extra straight out of HBO's "Oz".
