Ali Williams breaks his jaw from Sebastien Chabal charge
From the Westpac Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand...France's big number8 has a go at Ali Williams. Williams broke his jaw in several places while attempting to make this tackle.
Williams was operated on yesterday and is expected to miss the Tri-Nations. This means that the All Blacks lock supply is running low.
Both Eaton and Ryan out with severe knee problems. Keith Robinson hurt his calf in the warm-up of this game. And now Ali and his jaw. Ross Filipo and Greg Rawlinson have been called up.

Kudos to Williams, though!
Getting up almost immediately after a hit like that...

Powerful, but against Argentina in the RWC 2007...not even close.

Juding by Ali's recent hair choice, maybe Captain Caveman's hit also bruised his brain.

Perhaps the bad hair infection was passed from Chabal in that encounter ;)

Completely overrated player. Should have included the next 2 minutes of the game as well. You'll see how Chabal is turned over and France driven back 40 meters. If he's so big and strong, why can't he hold on to rugby ball after being tackled?? Doesn't weight that much, does it? He is the best French back row/boiler room player after Pelous, Thion, Betsen, Martin, Bonnaire, Dusautoir, Harinordoquy, Nyanga (and the list goes on.......)

i would of agreed with the first comment posted here when i first saw Seb, now i totally disagree, he's a right footballer!
Leguizamon tackles him and makes an outrageous backflip, whilst blatently looking to the ref for a reaction.
aint rugby.
