Rua Tipoki drops Jean De Villiers

You've all seen the top image banner (edit: it was on the old banner, not the current one) on here of Jean De Villiers with a huge gash on his cheek. Now you can see what caused the blood.

Rua Tipoki is no stranger to controversy. He's been banned in the past for a hit on a Force player, and just recently he was allegedly involved in a street brawl after the Crusaders' loss to the Chiefs.

That said, he is a really exciting player to watch, with amazing fast feet. He clearly has fast hands too though.

Watch on the replay, De Villiers runs into him when he doesn't have the ball (to the left of McAlister) and Tipoki smashes him with a closed fist. De Villiers drops to his knees and keels over while Tipoki re-joins the attack to score.
