Greg Holmes Try vs Ireland 2006
After many requests, here it is. ANOTHER brilliant try from a front rower.
Who says fat boys can't move?
Phil Kearns' comment says it all - "Front rowers are not allowed to run more than 3 meters for a try - it's in the bylaws".

just another example of how the game is evolving with players becoming bigger faster stronger - even in those unexpected positions!

That's great seeing a forward charge in for a try - especially one where he sneaks in out of nowhere through a gap.
My only questions for ireland is what is the fullback doing hopping around the outside of the ruck like that...even if he is there for support, I don't get why the winger is standing there hugging the touchline.
Either way, that was a fantastic try!

Brilliant.
I bet during Kangaroo Court that evening, he was sentenced to to buy all the front rowers their drinks for the evening.
Kearns is hillarious. I generally don't like the Aussie commentary, but I guess front rowers always make the funniest commentators..

As a prop myself (under 15) I know what it feels like to score a try like that, I have run the pitch like that and it feels good.
