Saracens stun Ospreys - Francisco Leonelli try
Saracens overcame a star studded Ospreys side on Sunday to head through to the Heineken Cup Semi Finals. Saracens came out tops in an entertaining game that saw the Ospreys commit far too many errors which had Saracens capitalising on the opportunities given to them. A combination of great defensive tackling and gritted determination saw the men in black coming out victorious 19-10.
The game turned shortly after half time when Neil de Kock found himself in trouble in his own 22. His hurried kick took a deflection from Marty Holah's charge down, which instantly put all other Saracens players onside for Francisco Leonelli to score in the corner.
There was a fair bit of confusion in the stadium and even for some viewers at home, but the rule is that if a kick is charged down or touched by an opposing player, all other players are put on side.
Saracens will now face Munster in the Semi Finals.
Note: We'll be adding highlights of the other quarter finals in the next day or two, so stay tuned.

Saracens defence rocked them. Shane Williams could not make any ground, Henson got injured by a big tackle and Hook made an idiot of himself trying to catch a kick behind his back and dropping it!!! Good to get a vid of that. Thare try was a pick and drive.

Isn't there an offside? He was in front of the kicker?

All of the welsh grandslamers need a kick up the ass. They made far too many mistakes. I wonder if they were just arrogant and expected to win easily. Hopefully they can make it up to the supporters by beating Leicster.

hmmm not so sure that was touched in flight personally, so as regards to anoymous number one yes there should have been an off-side line...just one of the many mistakes made by the ref

O's cocked that one right up, with all the games leading to that you think they could manage not to screw up.
O well, come on Leicster game!

Not convinced that was touched after he kicked it, but I'm not going to complain.

Looks like some of the posters on here are enjoying a fine glass of whine.

How quick is Shanne Williams!!! He got back pretty rapid!!! I reckon I could still outrun him though. Get me back on that Bath wing, Banahan's nicked my shirt.

Welsh clubs are gay, Ospreys should have owned Sarries but they obviously still have their heads up their arses about winning the six nations.

"welsh clubs are gay".....1. they're "regions" (or at least meant to be) and 2. what??
Well done Saracens, thoroughly deserved to win, worst Ospreys performance i've seen in a long time. Pathetic. Probably too arrogant and expected to win so they deserved to lose. Once again no welsh side will be in the final.
As for the try it didn't look like the kick was charged down but the ref must have heard it.

Peter, sounds just like when England lost to Wales
XD

Ospreys deserved to lose. Saracens wanted it more and thoroughly deserved to win. It's a shame the scoreline wasn't a true reflection of how poorly the Ospreys played. I mean, the Toulouse scoreline was very flattering in favour of Toulouse, Cardiff played nowhere near as bad as the Ospreys did (but I'm biased. Heh).

someone please tell how the ospreys lost
look at the team they have amazing talent but never really perform
marshall-never relly looked threatening
williams-was brought into the game to often and the ospreys relyed on him to much
hook-well the behind the back failed catch says it all
henson-with hook in his own showing off world henson had nothing
im not biased because i support the ospreys

i agree with the guy above...the ospreys relyed on individuals like williams and marshall way to much and the saracens managed to contain them enough to silence the ospreys in style
i belive justin marshall to be the best scrum half playing today (anyone with a disagreement please say)
but when someone like marshall is making mistakes you know theres something wrong
Poor ospreys performance
