Try Savers & Rib Breakers 10
After many long hours of editing, decision making, and even technical difficulties at times, it’s finally here. We’ve been promising it for a while now and what better time than after the biggest finals of the season. Try Savers & Rib Breakers 10 has arrived.
We've covered all the big names from North to South. From Jonny Wilkinson and Jason White, to the likes of Stirling Mortlock and Jerry Collins. Attentive viewers will also notice the emergence of new spine-tingling centres Leo Afeaki and Benson Stanley making their presence felt around the field. The Rugby World Cup 2007 has been revisited for one or two clips, but the majority come from recent times, with a plethora of hefty tackles from all competitions including the Super 14, Top 14, Heineken Cup and Six Nations.
It's never easy tracking down every single RD-worthy tackle there is, and compiling them into such compilations. We do what we can though, and hope that everyone enjoys yet another high intensity video that no one but Rugbydump can bring you.
NOTE: We’d like your feedback please. Out of the 10 TSRB’s we’ve done so far, how does this one rank according to you? Rugbydump is very much about the community and the regulars, so please, let us know what you think by leaving a comment, or discussing in the forum.

By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 7:41 pm
oooooooo the brumbies vs waratahs one was bad.
lol at Wilkinson smashing Umaga, that was nice to see :)
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 7:49 pm
I definately don't think it should be the last but I do think that you can't just stick any old crap in to make one for the sake of it. I think with all the summer tours going on there should be some good clips then the beginning of next season mixed with the autumn internationals there should be plenty of footage for one ready in time for Christmas :)
Keep up the good work innit!
By Unknown, at June 01, 2008 7:53 pm
That was awesome.
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:02 pm

keep them coming mate, this series is awesome! And I don't mind a longer gap between TSRB's as long as they maintain their awesomeness. Oh yeah, This is the best one so far.

Yeah that was easily the best one yet, dont end TSRB!!! :D

Brilliant vid, great cut, good job!
It's the best so far - hope there are more to come!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:20 pm
Wow, that one is amazing. It's an instant classic, and it would be my number one, but there's still something about the fourth one that gets me every time. Maybe it's Guerilla Radio, and maybe it's the hit from the little guy in pink who creams that huge guy out of bounds. Either way, this one is great, and keep 'em coming.
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:21 pm
absolutely mind blowing!
Keep em Coming !!!!!!!!!!!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:27 pm
Wow that was by far the best yet

By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:29 pm
Wow,that is freakin' mighty,man...
keep em coming dude!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:32 pm

By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:41 pm
my lord, i LOVE TSRB, well worth the wait! keep 'em coming rugbydump!!!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:42 pm
PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:43 pm
keep up the good job! if it takes a longer break between editions- let it be, but dont let the quality drop!

By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:56 pm
Make one at about christmas time to keep players motivated over christmas!!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:58 pm
Great compilation! Keep them coming even if the gaps between are long. They are an institution of rugby dump.
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 8:58 pm
please dont stop at 10. i look forward to the new ones all the time and i'm not ready to see them come to an end. i dont mind waiting awhile, but i love to see the bigs hits all in one video. TSRB's are classics..
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 9:05 pm
well anonymus that small guy in pink is juan hernandez :)
i am looking forward to the next tsrb !
i would prefer to see 2 or 3 seconds beforehand, the build-up to the tackle, hits dont come to you easily you have to line-up ur opponent and if u cant make an interception u can usually make a good hit
By sebastian, at June 01, 2008 9:06 pm
Keep them coming! This one is AWESOME! The best so far.
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 9:12 pm
so far numbers 9 and 5 are my favs, but this series is fucking epic! keep them up.
this is by far the most brutal compliation yet, not that i'm a fan of his but that Jason White run at 2:40 made we wince for the guys in his way!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 9:13 pm
I love TSRB serie so please don't stop...!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 9:15 pm
that was the best yet. loving the '1, 2, 3 ' thing with the tackles going in. keep em coming they are the essence of Rugby Dump. boom.
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 9:15 pm
you've got to keep them coming. it's your signature viedo. get people to tell you at what time hits occur in which videos and it'll make editing a lot easier and quicker. and have an appeal for ts and rb's videos
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 9:20 pm
Brilliant video, but i'm surprised that you didn't include Cueto's try from the World Cup Final, it was a brilliantly "stopped" by the TMO
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 9:21 pm
replying to comment at bottom of vid
i think just keep going as long as they are new tackles coming through in every video
gotta say though some of the super 14 hits ar MASSIVE
keep all the good vids coming
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 9:34 pm
Another awesome effort from rugbydump!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 9:41 pm
Brilliant as always.
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 9:45 pm
i dont think this was a very good edidtion of tsrb considering the time we've waited for it but keep em coming!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 9:53 pm
keep up the good work! 10 isn't a good number to stop, it's a number to continue making new ones!!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 10:02 pm
keep them coming there unreral ther will always be new hits. Maybe there should also be on with legal hits only far to much ilegal stuf in there
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 10:03 pm
Not the best, but Glorz has gradually built himself a very high standard, so it's still up there.
The edition with the "pain" song i think is one of my top one
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 10:05 pm
I do like these :)
But i think i would prefure seeing a coplilation of fantastic trys for the season...
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 10:09 pm
I like :-) Scott Gibbs moment is just brilliant, like a super charged pin ball.
Better than some, good work RD and thanks
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 10:18 pm

Rugbydump is the best rugby website.
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 10:22 pm

By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 10:29 pm
that's the best series iv seen yet. i'd say give it a bit of time before making a new one. Keep up the good work!
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 10:30 pm
this was the best tsrb, btw
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 10:32 pm
i love the vids and you should make some more of them. They are worth the waiting...
But when you look at those hits,
don't you think rugby is developing in a wrong way?
The boys are bigger, stronger, harder, faster etc. Those hits are just crazy!I'm really amazed nobody got seriously injured...
Maybe rugby will evolve into a sport with pads?! On french tv they said the number of injured players is increasing each year... Even in the leagues!
Don't shoot me, but give me your opinion
Belgian rugby fan
By Anonymous, at June 01, 2008 10:49 pm

Please keep it up - here in Trinidad we can't always get the matches so it's a great way to keep up with the best of the best matches and tackles.
Great site!!!
By Anonymous, at June 02, 2008 4:57 pm

By Anonymous, at June 02, 2008 5:34 pm

By Anonymous, at June 02, 2008 7:27 pm
totally different feel to TSRB 10 than past ones.
Can't really say if I like it better or less.
Don't like the song. However, it fits the compilation well.
Yes, and the TSRB gaps are fine, especially if they preserve the quality of the video.
Great job
By Cheyanquí, at June 02, 2008 7:37 pm
agree with alot of the other comments brilliant vid cud possibbly b 1 of the best!!
Not really my sorta music but have to admit it works well with the video.
i think its got such gd reviews cos u have left it a while since u made no.9
neway in danger of beating the record 4 the longest comment on rugbydump i'll just finish by saying plz don't stop making them, just leave enough time 2 get enough decent clips before making another 1 :D
By Anonymous, at June 02, 2008 7:43 pm
This is an excellent compilation, although in my opinion it is no. 2 after TSRB 8. Please keep doing them, but don't produce them for the sake of it, do them when there truly is a need to capture all the great little moments of the game in one video.
Thanks.
By Anonymous, at June 02, 2008 7:55 pm
jesus, theres no shortage of comments here aye? :P
By Anonymous, at June 02, 2008 8:16 pm
trevor leota!? is that a TSRB first? lets have some more of that, he was a tank

By Anonymous, at June 02, 2008 11:38 pm
i keep watching these again and again. awesome.
By Anonymous, at June 03, 2008 12:18 am
that was great! right up there!!! I still love No1. though, am i the only fan of "here comes the boom!"
By George, at June 03, 2008 2:42 am
I love TSRB videos. Definitely keep them coming. In terms of hits, this was probably either 1 or 2. For music, my favorite had to be Pain by Three Days grace.
If you stop making these videos i will be a very sad hooker
By Big Ginger, at June 03, 2008 2:53 am
YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh it makes me so happy. keep the good times rolling...DON'T STOP NOW!!
By Anonymous, at June 03, 2008 6:35 am
Please dont stop....I love the series...they are all good...esp the frenchman getting a slippering in 10! really gets the blood flowing...
By Anonymous, at June 03, 2008 8:03 am
Brilliant. So many hits there, and works well with a song I wouldn't normally enjoy.
G-Unit, not sure if I misunderstood what you wrote there, but that isn't a TSRB/RD vid mate...
By Anonymous, at June 03, 2008 12:56 pm
the carbonneau spear tackle on an English player has to be my favorite tackle of all times
By Anonymous, at June 03, 2008 3:01 pm
2:08 now thats why u dont run head on into a prop
By Anonymous, at June 03, 2008 4:12 pm
any longer clips of the lomu one against figi, i think it was a 7s match. its at 01:16, best try savers and rib breakers to date!
any chance of a best of tsrb?
By Anonymous, at June 03, 2008 4:22 pm
Wow, really nice video...
Cant say it was the best, cant say it was the worst, coz seriously each time I watch one is always the same consistence of bad-ass quality...this one was no exception.
By Don, at June 03, 2008 6:03 pm
this is the best try savers an rib breakers ever
By Anonymous, at June 03, 2008 9:14 pm
by far, i think it's the best of all 10
keep 'em coming
By Anonymous, at June 04, 2008 12:14 am
you cant stop making tsrb's, even if the gap between them is longer!! I'm always looking forward to the next one even now i'm excited about the 11th edition even though probably none of the hits in it have been made yet!
By Richie Dodd, at June 04, 2008 1:17 am

By Anonymous, at June 04, 2008 5:22 am
Lol G-Unit, that isn't an RD video so not sure why you say it's your favourite 'RD vid'. Never been featured on here, and by the looks of things, never will thankfully.
Over 100 comments in a few days hey guys... impressive stuff. RD, I think the overwhelming feeling is, take your time, but get us TSRB11!! ;)
By Anonymous, at June 04, 2008 9:47 am
amazing video guys, you excel in every video, and the music is always good!
Keep the videos coming, they are the foundation of what makes rugby the best sport on the planet!

By Anonymous, at June 05, 2008 6:22 pm
Nice... Lomu is the man still!
By Anonymous, at June 06, 2008 12:21 am
Some great tackles in there. I think I saw a couple of league highlights though... and please, LOSE THE MUSIC! IT DETRACTS FROM THE GAME!
By Anonymous, at June 06, 2008 1:36 am
don't stop!! keep them coming
brilliant videos!!
By Anonymous, at June 07, 2008 12:38 am
This was a great tsrb. You should keep them coming. They are so good.
By USrugger10, at June 07, 2008 3:50 am
keep em rolling out, these TSRBs are just awsome. My fave was (number seven i think it was?) the world cup one. I think there should be like a one for the guinnesss premiership, and a different one for the super 14, and another one for the 6 nations etc.
By Anonymous, at June 08, 2008 4:51 pm
Anonymous four up ^,
There wasn't one league clip in there mate, all union.
If you don't like the music, mute the vid. Simple really. :)
By Anonymous, at June 09, 2008 3:27 pm
i'm no scot but at the rate he's going you could probably dedicate an entire episode of this to Jason White, every hit is just perfect, and totally legal too.
By Anonymous, at June 10, 2008 8:42 pm
keep them coming
it's so good to see rugby tackles like that
please don't let us alone^^
By Anonymous, at June 11, 2008 11:41 am
good hits....
gay music...
By Anonymous, at June 15, 2008 9:01 am
PLEASE keep makin them! Theyre the best rugby video series around and i always look forward to the next one. I know it must be hard and time consuming makin them but i would rather wait a really long time between them than not have them at all
By Anonymous, at June 16, 2008 7:29 pm
the best yet...WELL DONE
By Anonymous, at June 17, 2008 10:44 pm
i think you should keep making try savers and rib breakers until they quit playin rugby all together...Anybody agree??? they have more and more TSRB's everyday so why stop here???
By Anonymous, at June 18, 2008 9:07 am
Some good footage of Jason White in there doing his thing.
By Anonymous, at June 19, 2008 8:17 pm
Absolutely keep them coming!
Love from the U.S.
By Anonymous, at July 03, 2008 5:46 pm
One of the best to date!
By Anonymous, at July 04, 2008 1:55 pm
Love that tune!!! a possible tune is For whom the bell tolls by Metallica
By Anonymous, at July 05, 2008 8:38 pm
2.29 is insane, is that the nz 8? classic wilko madness!
By Anonymous, at July 09, 2008 3:01 pm
I recommend If You Want Blood by AC/DC as the song for TSRB11. =)
By Anonymous, at July 12, 2008 4:50 pm
loved it when wilkinson nailed umaga...just loved it
By Anonymous, at July 15, 2008 6:26 am
Jason White is the king of the big hits, Wilkonson just hit Umaga with a cheap shot which is what he does these days
By Anonymous, at July 17, 2008 2:31 pm
Awesome vids guys! keep them coming and also a suggestion for the song to the next epsiode would be Know Your Enemy By Rage Against The Machine! A quality tune and would go well with the hard hitting vids!
By Anonymous, at July 18, 2008 1:44 pm
One of the best. Though i thibk the world cup one was the best. however that one is quite hard to beat. Lots of Jason White which is great to see from a scots eyes. best bit is when he just brushes Ronan O'gara and a few Irish forwards aside.
Good song for the future would be fort minor- remember the name.
By finmac, at July 18, 2008 11:08 pm
maybe reduce them to two a year. one at the end of each season (northern and southern hemsphere)
By Anonymous, at July 23, 2008 12:15 am
good to see Jason (aka The Angry Scotsman) doing his thing.
wonder if he'll make into the lions.
By Anonymous, at July 23, 2008 10:23 pm
The vid... is not working... great rugby vid
By Anonymous, at August 02, 2008 7:13 pm

By Anonymous, at August 12, 2008 12:34 pm
unfortunatly i think becauseof the new global rule variations some of the hits arnt gunna be as good
i agree u can still hit well with them but the dumping an opponent flat on their backs is now illegal

By cython1, at September 06, 2008 1:27 am

By Anonymous, at September 12, 2008 3:20 pm
Keep em coming lads but more hits from magners league needed and top 14
By Anonymous, at October 16, 2008 3:12 pm
