Unique finish to a sensational Crusaders try
This excellent try comes to us from round 9 of this years Super 14, and from a team who, at that stage anyway, were unbeaten and playing some incredible rugby.
The Crusaders' second half display against the Lions showed just what they're capable of when they throw the ball around.
After breaking out of their 22, the ball passed through 10 pairs of hands before Sean Maitland was stopped 1m out near the right corner flag.
But scrum half Anrew Ellis plucked the ball from the base of the ruck and cheekily dived over the top of it to dot down for the bonus-point fourth try.
A brilliant ending to a quite magnificient try.

Superb try, if only the greedy sod had of passed it to Williams that could have been one of the best tries ever seen.
However i was amazed to see the numbers the crusaders had out wide within the 15m and the touch line. The lions had no chance with so many players tied into the ruck. Great play!

Thanks for posting stuff like this for us who would otherwise not get to see it!
I for one really appreciate it

two passes involved looked slightly forward....(don't mean to be an ass...) i havent watched it a thousand times and seen slow mo and drawn arrows and lines like many experts on here so i could be wrong.
But, i've said before play to the whistle which is what they did and scored a fantastic try!
Great vid RD thanks!

its legal law 21:2 you can't jump on other players in a ruck he jumped over them.

Crap defense, typical of the 'fluffy' rugby produced by the super 14 at the moment. The commentator predicting one of the greatest tries of all time really took the biscuit. Overrated i'm afraid.

Goodbye Anonymous. Stupid comment. I'll be asking for this one to be deleted.
Next time use a name and it won't be.

you're getting my comment removed because you don't agree!? You'll be wanting to change the laws of the game next to help you win a world cup! Oh, hang on, you already have with the ELV's. Moron.

I don't think the SH needs any help winning world cups thanks.
And no, I was saying your comment should be removed primarily because you didn't use a nickname (as requested by this website), AND because it was negative, arrogant and insulting. That you'd go out of your way to insult a try like this just shows what preconceived attitude you already have towards the ELV's.
Fluffy rugby.. that takes the cake. You really haven't watched much this season have you?
And being called a moron by someone who chooses to remain Anonymous is like getting punched in the nose by an invisible man.
