With kick off only a day away, the excitement for this years Six Nations is kicking into fever pitch.
It's with that in mind that I've chosen this excellent montage of 2007 highlights to set the mood for this years tournament.
Great tries, big hits, and some of the more interesting moments from last year will set the tone for the premier Northern Hemisphere rugby tournament.
Time: 05:40
Music:
Song 1: Eskimo Joe - London Bombs
Song 2: Eskimo Joe - This is Pressure
Song 3: Jet - Rip It Up

2008 is the year of the Strettle. Forget all the hype surrounding Cipriani and the Tongan chap; It's time for the Stretmeister to shine!

For you, who's going to win this year?
By Anonymous, at February 01, 2008 11:14 am
There's only 2 teams with a realistic shot at winning. England and France.
In my opinion, England will sneak it.

the video has a gayish start but a brillliant end.Hope the irish win it, but every game in the tournament will be exciting!

superb video! I think it will be very close, every team has a lot to prove. I have to say England to win, though. Watch out for Italy and Ireland, both have a massive point to prove. I would like to have seen Tait in the team, so he could exact some revenge on Henson!
What is the biggest shock selection, or non selection for you all?

I really hope France will win the Tournament this year, but as the team has a lot of new players and a new coach, I'm sure France will be able to do it. We'll see after the match agaisnt Scotland this Sunday.
I just hope England won't win it ( sorry, I'm french ^^).
By the way, I really want France to win against Ireland because I'll be in the stadium that day and it will really upset if I had paid so much to see my team loosing.
Good luck to all the teams ( even England ). May the best win .
( And, I'm sorry for my English, which is not perfect at all )

The best bit was after 5:07. The French lock taking a kick off. That's one of the best restart catches I've ever seen. Superb.
By Will Topps, at February 01, 2008 1:21 pm
there isn't a side in the world that loves to attack from their own posts like France, (see 1:50)
being realistic i think France or England, the english have such a huge depth of players to choose from. although i think the game tomorrow will be a very close call. Wales have alot to be be optimistic about

Anyone know what kind of move the irish was planning to do at ~3.18? They didn't get to show it off in that game, so I'm curious what it is.

Great Video!

God I'd managed to blank the Scotland -Italy match from my mind up until now!

Great video! Love it!! Just an American rugby fan here looking to watch some amazing matches. Probably have to root for the French though, very exciting rugby team.

1:35 -- what's with the Scot? Looks like he's about to cry, but it's only the 60th min of th match
1:38 -- Rugby Karma at its best -- grab the opposing jumper in the air, only to get flipped over AND penalized for your trouble

Of course, thanks to whomever built this up. Great montage showing all Six teams doing great things.

By Anonymous, at February 01, 2008 7:57 pm
AWESOME!!!!
thanks so much, gets you in the mood for every upcoming game!
5:04 ish what an amazing take from the french flanker!! that was really something, hands down that was the best restart take i have ever seen! (i think...)

awesome video
with david's last comment i tend to disagree with the fact that they would not do that against an english or an australia or new zealand and a team like fiji would play much riskier moves than the french
but a great video
cant wait untl the 6-nations start

I'll be in the stadium for France-Ireland. But even though I'm French, I hope O'Driscoll will shine that day... being my favorit player.
Anyway, France will win it. I'd bet anything. Altough we just lost our best centre (Florian Fritz) cause of a stupid injury, I still think we have the best overall team. Watch out for our wingers and fulback.. they will do DAMAGE.

i would of loved to see argentina added to the tourny.
they proved alot at the cup!
By Anonymous, at February 02, 2008 7:57 am
i totally agree with the comment about strettle, what a player he's going to be. this competition will be his. also, a message to shane williams- the volcano's gonna get ye!!!!

WAAALES!
By Anonymous, at February 02, 2008 7:34 pm
Wales had a terrible start, with England having a solid first half. Does Brian Ashton now have enough fucking evidence to boot Balshaw out of Twickers now or what? Good come back by Wales and the best team won overall. 17 or so errors to only Wales' 4 lost a game for England that they could have so easily won.
Jonny B (English)
By Anonymous, at February 02, 2008 7:39 pm
Wales lost a shit load of turnovers though...
By Anonymous, at February 02, 2008 7:44 pm
Haha England to win? Didn't Wales just dent that one?
Also, after the whole challenge with the swinging arm, will Wilko be cited? Surely, but the golden ladyboy of rugby will get off with it, odds on.
Rather enjoyed Mauro Bergamasco nailling B.O.D today too. :)
anyone seen wilkos girlfriend.....?
"no"
Its cos hes gay!
By Anonymous, at February 02, 2008 8:19 pm
1. Im so annoyed about England
2. Johnny isnt gonna get cited
3. What happened 2 Sheridan after World Cup? Why didn't he demolish Wales's front row?
By Anonymous, at February 02, 2008 8:44 pm
...because Wales' front row isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
By Anonymous, at February 02, 2008 9:32 pm
The young French team will get it
By Anonymous, at February 02, 2008 10:09 pm
Anonymous,
the first song is London Bombs by Eskimo Joe.

I'm Irish and I thought Bergamasco (Mauro) was brilliant today against Ireland. Nailed o'driscoll and made some other fantastic tackles. Good thing O'Gara is Irish or we'd have lost.
If o'Sulivan doesn't start Jackman and bring in quinlan and bowe we'll be lucky to come 4th. Well done Wales and hard luck England!
Third centre
By Anonymous, at February 03, 2008 12:16 am
Better said,
"Good thing O'Gara chose to play for Ireland"
He was born in the USA and was actually approached by the US coach long ago...
All in all I think Ronan made a smart choice.
Loved Bergamasco's shot, but should it get a citing?
By Anonymous, at February 03, 2008 1:00 am
I know he was born in San Diego but I really don't think there was any chance of him playing for the US, sure he moved back to Ireland by the age of 5 or so.
Don't think there was anything illegal in Bergamasco's tackle. Was it just me or did Dempsey seem to go out of his way to tackle Darcy ?
By Anonymous, at February 03, 2008 2:23 pm
Cheyanqui, just curious do you know how long O'Gara stayed in USA?
and Hopefully Ireland take it but I think Wales have a shot
By Anonymous, at February 20, 2008 8:33 pm

"3. What happened 2 Sheridan after World Cup? Why didn't he demolish Wales's front row?"
Sheridan isnt quite as good as the English think he is, not saying he's bad, but he isnt as good as you think.
