Chat with Nick Easter and Simon Shaw ahead of the RBS 6 Nations
With the RBS 6 Nations kicking off on Friday, we were given some interview time with a few of the England players as they prepared for their big game with Wales. Some of your questions, posed on the RD Facebook Page, were also asked.
It’s not everyday that you get to ask a question to a top international rugby player, so through opportunities like this we hope to get you more connected to them, and of course ask important questions like ‘Are you and my girlfriend an item?’. Thanks, Robin.
On the superstition side of things, Simon Shaw revealed that he likes to get out of the dressing room last, a la David Campese. The reason behind it though isn't superstitious, it's actually practical as he had a pretty bad neck injury a few years ago. To avoiding the hyped up taps on the back that usually take place pre kickoff, he'd simply make sure he was the last one out.
The feeling in the England squad seems good, and after a fairly successful Autumn International series, they have the self belief which could make them a real handful for Wales on Friday night.
We'll have more interviews over the next few weeks, so keep a check on the Facebook Page.
To get the inside scoop on the England squad, as well as fun features, match analysis and up to the minute player interviews with presenters Austin Healey and Abi Griffiths, sign up for alerts and watch O2 Inside Line on RFU TV at O2InsideLine.com
Time: 03:32
Big thanks to Nick Heath for the wise words, and Lloyd Morgan for the video production.

At anonymous, I am a South African, and would love a coach with a little less "personality"!

At Anonymous above.....
Well would you accept a French speaking one?
I think Lievremont will be soon available...unfortunatelly (or fortunatelly depending from which side you looked) probably after the WC .....unless England/Ireland/Wales and Scotland might help speeding up the process....

Shaw does seem like a top guy, maybe he's a bit of an oldschool lock and just enjoys himself....although that doesn't apply to MJ I guess....
