O2 Inside Line - Episode 14
Ireland host England tomorrow in the last of their Rugby World Cup warm-up matches, as both sides have a lot to prove to both themselves, and of course their fans. Here's the latest O2 Inside Line, which is jam-packed with banter.
First up, if you're not English and can't stand seeing what other international teams get up to in the week leading up to a big test match, rather don't watch. There's been all sorts of comments flying about, from accusations of propaganda, to outright hatred. It's unbecoming of rugby fans, and if this isn't your thing, that's fine, there's loads of other stuff on the site for you to enjoy.
Austin Healey is back and up to his usual mischief alongside Abi Griffiths, and then we've got everyone's favourite loudmouth, James Haskell as he gets behind the camera and stirs the pot with some of his teamates.
It's all good fun, and we also get to hear what veteran hooker Steve Thompson thinks of the new age technology that takes over his training sessions, as he explains to Martin Bayfield that he'd have no place to hide.
Who do you think is going to take the game tomorrow, and do you think a win tomorrow will have a noticeable effect on the momentum in New Zealand, or is it irrelevant?

Jury's out on Haskell to be honest. Fair play to him for not taking himself seriously though.

England have put out a strong team and with wilkinson at 10 they have the edge over o'garas kicking game.
England by 6 points

yup, totally ok with RD
as french, i'm not a fan of the english show-off :) but that's part of pre-RWC folklore, english have to the commercial needs of their sponsor O2
french are not used to that, as the national team have always refused a major sponsoring on their jackets

Thanks again to RD for a decent introduction to the clip. I'm English and not a huge fan of these 'in camp' antics - kind of get the feeling that the under-performing players should be head down and trying to get their game sorted before monkeying about with silly cook-offs and dorm-room camera nonsense. Nonetheless, appreciate the colour it adds to the game and build-up, and I have the choice not to watch. Cheers RD for promoting the best values of rugby!

Great introduction to the clip RD.
I am actually starting to like Haskell's humor more and more. Steve did some funny self reflection too.
Healey is healarious. Love the banter between him and Greenwood.
And Abby...is quite fit I have to say. Don't know what she's got to do with rugby but nothing wrong with some eye-candy, aaaaaaayyyyy!

Anyone notice how badly Lewis Moody was limping to get on stage at 4:00? And he's meant to be fit enough to lead an international side through a world cup in a couple of weeks' time??
