Plays of the Month for August 2009
As September brings with it the start of the Northern Hemisphere season, we’re soon to be treated to a total rugby overload. If it's anything like what we've seen in the last few months, we're in for a treat, as August provided plenty of action with some stand out moments from down south.
There’s no better time to be a rugby fan, as we’re spoilt for entertainment with so much going on right now. It’s actually pretty difficult to keep up at times.
So it’s that time of month again, as the boys from the Rugby Club in Australia to fill us in on what’s been happening in August, with another brilliant instalment of their Plays of the Month.
Starting with the big Test from Perth last Saturday, we get to see not one, but two reasons why Richard Brown has been dropped from the Wallabies line up for this weekend.
Showing us how to do it, is young kiwi Aaron Cruden, who we featured on RD last week sometime. The boy’s got it all. Expect to see him wearing all black in the very near future.
As always, there’s some fierce big hits, a quality best try, and a whole heap of confusion.
It’s great stuff. Enjoy.

lol Creggs.. I think you'll find that Wallabies are actually little furry animals. But Aussies are funny too :P
Great clip, cheers!

Love the Aussie commentator.
He was born to be sarcastic LOL.

Poor Wallabies in this video. Can't catch, can't win, everybody gets a trophy but the Wallabies. They need to figure out what they're doing over there.
Cruden looks good. Hurry up and develop, Stephen Donald needs someone to start ahead of him.

Ive always wondered, why are the NH/SH seasons at different times of the year?
Why dont they both start at the same time?
By TrinhDuck, at September 04, 2009 2:45 am
Uh, Because, it's a winter sport, and when it's winter in the SH, it's summer in the NH.

Also, its not that different. The TOp14 is in its 4th week, I believe, nearly a month has passed.
Still, Im becoming a huge The Rugby Club fan. I wonder if they have any other bits as fun as the "Plays of the Month" one. The commentator is a funny sarcastic fellow. Oh please, please, RugbyDump. Wont you find more funny rugby clips? Rugby can be so funny, and the examples are "The Rugby Club" and the "Alternative Rugby Commentary".
Cheers from the NH

The rugbyclub is pretty lighthearted but it's mostly analysis of games and players by a few old wallabies like Kearns and Kafer.

WTF Giteau at 0:50 .....what was that all about... could have miss timed that more badly, not to mention it looks more like he is interested in getting the SA player to suck his elbow!

I love how dan carter skips the aussie kid at the end. Slaps everyone hand, sees the green and gold, and says piss off. What an jerk, but still funny.
