Northampton Saints vs Saracens Guinness Premiership semi preview
This weekend the semi finals of the Guinness Premiership take place as Bath and Leicester face off, while Northampton Saints and Saracens do battle in what should be two fascinating match ups.
Saints host Saracens as the sides go into the match in second and third place on the table respectively. Saracens are the form side though, who actually beat Saints at Franklins Gardens just two weeks ago. Saints are out to get revenge.
"That hurt, hearing them singing as if they had won the league," said Saints boss Jim Mallinder. "For us, you can take motivation from a lot of things, and we are eagerly looking forward to that game next weekend now.
"We've had some close games against them this season. They are playing well - they played very well when they came to our place - and they've just won at Welford Road against Leicester. It will be an almighty battle, but we think we have a side to win that game."
In this video preview Saints stars Ben Foden, Stephen Myler, and Lee Dickson talk about the upcoming match. Does anyone fancy giving their predictions on both matches?

i can see the previews are proving really popular RD...............
really, come on, we can read (and watch) this sort of verbiage all day long elsewhere...sports pros talking about sport are so hamstrung by their minders that their 'opinions' aren't worth focusing on. move on RD I'd say.

Mise, you always have something to say about how this site is run. You act as though you're not getting your moneys worth.

'always' is a bit OTT isn't it?
Mostly I just comment on the clips, and comment on site-related issues if RD looks for feedback....I also tend to make requests through the forums, and never dish out personalised abuse or NH SH polemic. I also try to follow on from other people's points, and get people to elaborate on their previous points if it makes sense to. (More of that would be good here, actually - basic conversational dynamics!)
So, I'd say I'm a fairly balanced contributor really.
That said, looking back at the above comment I made, it was a bit strident. The point is accurate, the tone overly negative.
(And yes, that comment is one of the comments on the site, not the clip, but every now and then, that's fine - I run 3 of my own blogs, so I have some sort of an idea about how difficult they are to manage technically while also keeping interesting over a period of years)
