Chris Latham is a quality fullback. Under the high ball and with ball in hand he is possibly the best in the world. He proves that with this fantastic try resulting from a poor Welsh clearance. Maybe we'll see more of this at the World Cup?
The 2007 Super 14 Tournament starts in a few days time, and in the spirit of that, I thought I'd post an absolutely brilliant team try from last year by the Champions, the Crusaders.
The ball was passed 8 times, the full length of the field. It was eventually scored by sub Tanera Latimer, but truly defined the term 'team try'.
Not really sure how to describe this tackle. Probably something like a 'double drag and flick into touch'. 10 points for effectiveness.
Some refs would possibly consider it a dangerous tackle? Personally I don't think there was too much wrong with it. Peter Richards probably sees it differently though.
Happy New Year!! 2007 is going to be chokablock full with awesome rugby action from all over the world. 6 Nations, Sevens Rugby, Super14, and most importantly, The World Cup!!
To start off this fantastic year I thought we'd throw in a bit of humour.
This is a parody of the Haka by some Aussie guys on the beach. Pretty funny.
